IN FRAMEWORK
LIST has about 600 staff from over 45 countries and is organised into 3 main research departments: “Environmental Research and Innovation” (ERIN), “IT for Innovative Services” (ITIS), and “Materials Research and Technology” (MRT).
The ERIN department, in particular, made up of 170 life science, environmental science and information technology researchers and engineers, provides the interdisciplinary knowledge, expertise and technologies to lead on solutions including the major environmental challenges facing society such as climate change mitigation, ecosystem resilience, sustainable energy systems, efficient use of renewable resources, and environmental pollution prevention and control.
